PLOME presented at the PERSEO Summer School on Service-Based and Cloud Robotics

PERSEO is an EU-funded project dedicated to train junior researchers from different fields, ranging from computer science to psychology, on how robotics impacts at cognitive and social levels. PERSEO is primarily based on the organisation of workshops, training activities and short-term schools in various locations in Europe. The 2022 PERSEO Summer School was held in Palma (Balearic Islands) from 20 to 22 September.

In this context, Dr. Gabriel Oliver from the University of the Balearic Islands was invited to present the research activity of the Systems, Robotics and Vision group. Much of the presentation focused on PLOME, as it is one of the most attractive and innovative projects the group is working on. The lecturers and PhD students who attended the talk, both in person and remotely, showed their interest in PLOME and asked various questions about aspects of data communication, image processing and the management of the data to be generated during the project.
