UPM released the first version of the PLOME Middleware for acoustic communications.

Numerous advances have been made by the instrumentation and applied acoustics research group (I2A2) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid regarding the underwater communications system. The first version of the middleware has been developed which allows both local and remote connection to the acoustic modems, and provides a simple but robust interface for the clients.
